Blake’s Family Wines Single Vineyard Malbec 2024

This popular Mediterranean cultivar thrives beautifully in South Africa, and the Malbec grapes for this wine were sourced from a coastal farm where maritime influences enhance freshness and flavour. The grapes were hand-picked in the early morning and carefully cooled before fermentation in small stainless-steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matured in French oak barrels, adding depth and finesse.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep velvet red with a subtle garnet edge. The palate is rich and full, supported by soft, integrated tannins and a generous mouthfeel. Vivid aromas of mocha and dark chocolate rise from the glass, creating a harmonious balance between fruit richness and oak complexity.
