Who we are

AfriWine’s goal is to promote South African wine and educate European wine lovers about the diversity thereof. This is done by, among other things, organizing tastings and helping wine lovers to source their favourite South African wines.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Through our contact and/or registration forms, we collect the following personal data: name, email address, telephone number, address. Payments are processed through Mollie and payment information is not stored by us. The data collected will be used only for event registration, processing a purchase from our webshop, or to respond to your enquiry.

We only use cookies to improve the performance of our website, never to track your browsing preferences.

We do not share your personal data with third parties.

How long we retain your data

Personal data will automatically be deleted after 30 days or, if you create an account, for a maximum of 30 days after your account has been deactivated.

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an overview of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We do not process any data outside the European Union.
